Beneficiaries: Community Based Organizations

Problem Description:

Community Based Organizations are non-profits, operating on fund rising basis. In order to achieve sustainable development and solve the problems of their beneficiaries, it is important for them to have sustainable financial condition, hence they constantly are looking for the fundraising opportunities. On the other hand, local CBOs have various beneficiaries, among them are local farmers. Which means, grant opportunities announced in farming and agriculture, could be the interest of CBOs.

Services Delivered:

On November 3, Consulting Company ACG conducted Pro Bono webinar about “Grant Opportunities” for local CBOs. The participants received information about grant competitions and opportunities in Georgia in different fields and were introduced special online platform for grant calls.

Result of Pro Bono Mediation:

Up to 15 Pro Bono webinars were conducted via Zoom platform during the whole year and up to 20 participants were attended from different regional CBOs.

Mediator:

Pro Bono Webinars were mediated by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia within the frames of "Georgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative".
