World Experience for Georgia (WEG) is an independent, not-for-profit think tank dedicated to strengthen Georgia’s energy security and economic sustainability, supporting and challenging Georgian decision-makers at all levels to make informed decisions based on accurate analysis and knowledge, and providing a platform for engaging partners, stakeholders and citizens in the country’s policy-making and in the debate about the future of the country in its path to Euro-Atlantic integration.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

World Experience for Georgia (WEG) was working on one of the studies with purpose to identify the short term eefects of the Russia-Ukraine war on Georgia's energy security. Due to the fact that this topic is very important for Georgia and has high public interest, the organization needed to plan an effective communication campaign for this research to reach its stakeholders.

SERVICES DELIVERED:

In May 2022, ACT - a global research and management consulting company, conducted pro bono consulting for WEG Georgia. As part of the consultation, Nino Kalandia, strategic communications manager of ACT, developed communication campaign plan for the Research designed by WEG Georgia. In particular, the following works have been done: stakeholders were identified, communication channels were designed, etc. Within the framework of the consultation, two working meetings were held between the representative of ACT and World Experience for Georgia (WEG).

RESULT OF PRO BONO MEDIATION:

As a result of the pro bono consultation, communication campaign plan was developed by the ACT - a global research and management consulting company. The planned campaign will be implemented in June 2022.

Pro Bono consultation is mediated by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia within the frames of Civil Society STAR Initiative: CSOs as Sustainable, Transparent, Accountable and Resilient Development Actors in Georgia’. The project is funded by the European Union and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
