Pro bono consultation in the preparation of a competitive presentation

Problem description: In September-November 2022, members of the Pro Bono Network and partner companies implemented a large-scale pro bono project, which involved assisting civil activists to prepare presentations on initiatives. Activists had to present their presentations in the competition at the Community Leaders Forum - "Best Community Initiative 2020-2021" 5 business companies, and representatives of 4 pro bono networks were involved in the process: Bank of Georgia, TBC Bank, Credo Bank, Crystal and pro bono network non-member company "Aldagi".
Briefly about the initiative: during the pandemic, 14 years old Tazo Jojua, a public school student from the village of Askani, started a campaign using the "Orbeliani Meti" public funding platform, through which he managed to obtain both public funding and support from the business sector and international organizations. Due to Tazo's efforts, the students and teachers of Askani Public School now have access to modern digital resources.
Services delivered: The preparatory period of the pro bono project ended in October.
The representatives of the Bank of Georgia, Ana Tatulashvili and Cisana Kighuradze met Tazo Jojua and found out more information about the initiative "Digital space - more opportunities". It took several meetings to get the final product. In total, 5 meetings were devoted to pro bono activities, which amounted to 6 hours.
Result of Pro bono mediation: The representative of the Bank of Georgia met with the nominee several times during the pre-preparatory period and spent 6 hours in pro bono consultations. The marketing department of the Bank of Georgia helped Tazo to prepare a 1-minute motivational video. On November 9, at the community leaders’ forum, Tazo Jojua became the best participant who was chosen by the United Nations Development Program in Georgia and received 1500 GEL as a prize. Also, he received 500 GEL from CSRDG, books, and various symbolic gifts from the Bank of Georgia.
