On October 27, Pro Bono Marathon 2017 was held by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) in collaboration with the Bank of Georgia (BOG), the member of Pro Bono Network Georgia since 2016.

The event was organized as part of the global pro bono week. This year, as well as in previous year, CSRDG is the host of the global pro bono week in Georgia.

At the event, 7 Georgian Civil Society Organizations benefited from the pro bono consultations provided by 13 employees of Bank of Georgia. As a result, beneficiaries received highly valuable assistance and support to solve up to 40 problems/needs they are facing nowadays including legal issues, human resource management, marketing, social media management, public relations (PR), etc.

Pro Bono Marathon 2017 was organized by the Center of Strategic Research and Development of Georgia within the frames of "Georgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative". The initiative is funded by the European Union and co-funded by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS). The project is implemented by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS).
