Beneficiaries: Social Enterprise "Babale"

Social enterprise"Babale" was founded by non government organization "Together for Real Changes". The founders of the organization are the parents of children and adults with disabilities.

There is creative workshop in "Babale", where adults with special needs are working and studying, at the same time there is the salon for exhibition and for sale of the their works. Decorative art models are created as a result of mutual work of painters, designers and special teachers.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

As mentioned above, "Babale" produces various kinds of decorative items of wood, clay and textiles. The need for online sales as a result of the pandemic has forced many companies to refine their sales channel and in some cases, have become the only sales channel for many businesses.

In order to expand its production, the social enterprise "Babale" decided to sell its products outside of Georgia, in particular on the online platform- Amazon (in the United States and the United Kingdom). The company has already shipped the first order and started business relations with companies registered in the above mentioned countries. As the result, the enterprise needed to be consultation on tax issues in the direction of exports.

On October 26, 2021, Ketevan Abuseridze and Teona Papiashvili, representatives of the audit and business consulting company BDO Georgia, consulted to the social enterprise "Babale" about tax issues related to the export
