„Dopomoga Ukraini“ is an information platform created by a group of volunteers aimed at collecting and displaying all information necessary for Ukrainian citizens in Georgia in a single space. Organization helps Ukrainians in getting comprehensive information about the offers, available public services, and ongoing charity initiatives. The platform includes a website, a Facebook page, a public Facebook group, an Instagram page, and a Telegram channel.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

As we have already mentioned, the goal of the initiative group "Dopomoga Ukraini - for Ukraine" is to provide Ukrainian citizens in Georgia with the necessary information on their issues. As living, working and similar issues for Ukrainian citizens in Georgia are governed by the legislation of Georgia, professional lawyers are neccesary to provide the necessary information to Ukrainian citizens in Georgia.

SERVICES DELIVERED:

In response to the identified needs, the legal company BGI Legal provided pro bono consultation to the initiative group "Dopomoga Ukraini - for Ukraine". As part of the consultation, the legal company's lawyers provided comprehensive information to the organization. Particularly, the company provided information on a frequently asked questions questionnaire.

Pro Bono consultation is mediated by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia within the frames of Civil Society STAR Initiative: CSOs as Sustainable, Transparent, Accountable and Resilient Development Actors in Georgia’.
