Beneficiaries: Social Enterprise Gumbati
Social enterprise "Gumbati" is located in the village of Gumbati, Tsalka municipality. The purpose of the enterprise is to support to raise education level among Tsalka residents through formal and non-formal education. The mission of the "Gumbati" is to improve the living standards and peaceful coexistence of the diverse residents of Tsalka municipality.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Due to the fact that "Gumbati" is operating for a long time and gained some experience in the field, decided to change its original organizational structure and to make changes to charter of the enterprise. Also, "Gumbati" needed support in arranging various legal documents.
SERVICES DELIVERED:
Based on the identified needs, with the support of the Georgian Association of Law Firms (SIFA), a law firm - BLB was involved in a Pro Bono consultation. As part of the consultation, company representatives met with a representative of the social enterprise. Several working meetings were held. Amendments to the charter were planned and designed during the meetings. Also, based on the needs of the social enterprise, BLB offered to prepare a template for the labor and service contracts of the enterprise.
