About the Organization:
A civil organization is a public association that operates independently of state or commercial structures. Its primary goal is to serve the public interest by addressing social issues, advocating for human rights, promoting environmental protection, supporting education, improving healthcare, and contributing to other areas of societal well-being.
Description of the Need:
The fast-paced evolution of the digital space presents significant challenges for civil organizations. Rapid technological advancements demand continuous updates to operational methodologies. Adapting to these changes directly impacts the effectiveness and sustainability of these organizations' activities. For regional and community-based organizations, staying informed about the latest digital tools and resources is especially critical for maintaining relevance and impact.
Implemented Works:
On October 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., the webinar "Design for Your Business" was successfully conducted as part of Crystal's pro bono initiative. The session focused on essential design tools for social enterprises and civil organizations, with a particular emphasis on the use of Canva and Freepik. The online seminar was led by Tiko Chkheidze, a Marketing Department specialist from Crystal. In total, the company dedicated 17.3 hours to the project, covering preparation, facilitation, and follow-up activities.
Result Obtained:
The online seminar was attended by 18 participants from 18 organizations, who gained practical knowledge of Canva and Freepik, enabling them to create more effective visual content for their communication needs.
Mediator: Pro Bono services are mediated by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia within the frames of the "Georgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative”.
