"Etnodesign" is the brand of "Georgian Heritage Crafts Association", which brings together unique pieces of Georgian handmade ethnic chic products. By purchasing these objects you support safeguarding of local heritage craft traditions and employments of Georgian Craftsmakers

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

As stated above, one of the goals of the social enterprise "Ethnodesign" is to improve the economic conditions of traditional craftsmen in Georgia. The company actively works with masters throughout Georgia and promotes their products. The enterprise already cooperates with about 250 masters both in Tbilisi and in the regions, and in order for this cooperation to be more effective, they needed recommendations on how to increase the motivation and arouse financial interest of the masters.

SERVICES DELIVERED:

Based on the identified needs, the insurance company - GPI Holding provided pro bono consulting to the social enterprise "Ethnodesign". As part of the consultation, a meeting was held between the HR team of GPI Holding and SE. The representatives of GPI Holding shared tips and recommendations and answered the questions with regard the challanges SE is facing with regard managing craftsmen.

RESULT OF PRO BONO MEDIATION:

Pro bono consultation was held on human resource management issues.
