PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

As mentioned above, the beneficiaries of the enterprise are traditional craftsmakers who create unique products. Due to the fact that the company has gained a lot of experience in the field, began to think about patenting trademark. For this purpose, "EthnoDesign" neede legal consultation about patenting conditions in Georgia.

SERVICES DELIVERED:

Based on the identified needs, with the support of the Georgian Association of Law Firms (SIFA), a law firm - Grata International Georgia (Kordzakhia Zhgenti) was involved in a pro bono consultation. During the consultation, a company representative introduced to social enterprise the local and international legal environment regarding criterias and conditions for patenting. The company also received detailed information about the patent procedure, application and fee.

RESULT OF PRO BONO MEDIATION:

One meeting was held within the framework of the legal Pro Bono consultation, led by the representative of Grata International Georgia (Kordzakhia Zhgenti) Tea Tadashvili.
