Beneficiary Ogranization: Association "Anika"

Association "Anika" is non profit organization working with children with disabilities. The mission of the organization is to promote independent living and integration of people with disabilities. To fulfill the mission assosiation provides services based to individual needs, help to develop necessary sills for independent living, help to prepare them for labor market and employment.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

Due to the fact that the association "Anika" is a non-profit organization and operates on the basis of grants obtained, it often faces a shortage of resources. In particular, the organization has a limited number of human resources. The organization’s human resource management functions are delegated to the director and project manager. The current needs of the organization in this regard are: creation of a unified system of employee evaluation, updating of internal regulatory documentation and consulting on human resource management issues.

SERVICES DELIVERED:

Based on the identified needs, the company "MBC" started pro bono consultation for the association "Anika" in human resource management. Various works were carried out within the framework of the consultation. Following internal documents of the organization were analyzed: the internal regulations of the organization, the collection of human resource management procedures. Also, interviews and meetings with staff were conducted.

THE RESULT OF PRO BONO MEDIATION:

As the result of Pro Bono Consultation, following products have been created:

  • Anika's internal regulatory documents were analyzed and updated, precisely: the organization's labor regulations, a set of human resource management procedures;
  • A human resource assessment system has been developed;
  • A seminar was held for Anika employees. During the siminar the employees were informed with the internal regulations, internal procedures and forms of the organization.

Pro Bono Consulting was led by Human Resources Manager of MBC: Revaz Kharabadze.

Pro Bono consultation was mediated by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia within the frames of "Georgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative". The initiative is funded by the European Union and co-funded by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS). The project is implemented by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS).
