Problem description: Union Orioni is a civil organization that was founded in 2004 in the city of Zestaponi. Its activities gather: empowering disabled people, and their parents and promoting their integration into society (education, employment).

There are daycare centers, at the base of Orioni, that serve disabled children aged 6-18 and people over 18 years old, as well as an early development program for children aged 0-7 years.

In March, the rehabilitated park was opened by the organization in the city of Zestaponi. This information was discussed in the wrong context in one of the media and caused negative feedback on the social network.

Services delivered: Based on the identified needs, for crisis management issues, "Reminder" was involved in this Pro Bono case with the organization Orioni. On July 16, 2023, this consultation ended. The main task of this consultation was to deal with the negative feedback of the TV story spread on social networks and to manage the reputation of the organization.

During the consultation meetings, Giorgi Kalatozishvili, representative of “Reminder”, discussed the standards of media monitoring and their importance during crisis management, as well as ways and opportunities to change the negative context in the communication process.

Result of Pro Bono Mediation: As a result of pro bono consultations, an analysis of the negative responses on the social network was made and an outline of the communication strategy necessary for the formation of the organization's image in the future was prepared.
