In October and November, a large-scale pro bono mediation project was implemented, which united six business companies and six civil activists. The mediation process involved the preparation of nominees for the "Best Community Initiative" contest. The competition is part of the annual event, "Community Leaders Forum," which has been managed by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia since 2015.

Civil activists presented their initiatives to the audience. The representatives of the member companies of the Pro Bono Network helped to distinguish interesting accents and present the presentations originally.

Six companies were involved pro bono in the mediation process: Bank of Georgia, TBC Bank, Credo Bank, APM Terminal, Micro Finance Organization MBC, and Tegeta Holding.

Brief information about the project: In recent years, the issue of Georgia's rapprochement with Europe has become more relevant. Komli's team decided to hold a competition of campaigns about the European Union, in which the participating young people would provide information about the European Union to the public in interesting ways. "Community of Komli," on its part, promised organizational and resource support to the teams participating in the campaign.

The competition was announced for young people aged 14-29, who lived in the Shida Kartli region, mainly in the Kaspi municipality. As a result of the competition, two campaign organizing teams were selected, which consisted of schoolchildren living in Kaspi municipality. The teams carried out activities in the months of April and May 2023. The campaigns included a series of meetings with schoolchildren in Kaspi, public meetings with invited speakers, intellectual games, and workshops.

Their activities raised the level of knowledge about the EU in the community, as well as the practical experience of the campaign team members.

Pro Bono services are mediated by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia within the frames of the "Georgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative”. The initiative is funded by the European Union and co-funded by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS). The project is implemented by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS)
