The representatives of local civil society organization, besides them regional Hubs, created within the frames of the project "Georgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative", were attended Pro Bono Masterclass. The purpose of the regional Hubs is to promote and develop civil society at the regional level. The representatives of following Hubs were attended pro bono Masterclass: Young Scientist Club (Guria), Regional Hub Of Kakheti (Kakheti), For the Better Future (Mtskheta-Mtianeti), Social Enterprise "Ikorta" (Mtskheta-Mtianeti), Association "Atinati" (Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti), Young Scientist Union "Intelekti" (Adjara), Gori Infomational Centre (Shida Kartli), Fund "ApkhaziInterkont" (Racha-lechkhumi), Consulting and Training Center (CTC), Civil Society Institute (CSI).

Problem Description::

The following problems were identified, as a result of the research (number of interviews) conducted with each Regional Hubs and other local CSOs - taxation, financial and grant audit topics. As long as, CSOs are non profit organizations, who are implementing various projects on a basis of recieved grants, we find above mentioned issue very important for them. Consulting company RSM Georgia, expertized in this field, conducted masterclass about the topic.

Services Delivered:

Within the frames of Pro Bono Masterclass, preperatory works and full day masterclass was conducted. Following topics were discussed during the masterclass:

  • Taxation;
  • Financial Audit;
  • Grant Audit;

Results of Pro Bono Mediation:

Full day Pro Bono Masterclass was conducted by RSM Georgia. The masterclass was lead by the representatives of RSM Georgia - Beka Maruashvili and Mindia Gorgiladze
