Pro Bono Collaboration
Another large-scale pro bono mediation project was launched in October, which brings together five business companies and five civil activists.
Within the Community Leaders' Forum, the pro bono mediation process involves the preparation of nominees for the "Best Community Initiative" contest.
The Projects of participating civil activists will be presented in front of the jury and the attending public.
During the mediation process, the contestants will be helped by representatives of the five companies involved, pro bono - Bank of Georgia, TBC Bank, Crystal, Credo, and Aldagi in presenting their stories, distinguishing interesting accents, and preparing presentations.
The winner will be announced on November 9 at the Community Leaders Forum event.
CSRDG-based Community Development Program started operating in 1998 to strengthen civil organizations and groups in the regions. Full information about the program's activities can be found here.
Community Development Program hosts joint community meetings since 2011. These events, on the one hand, facilitate the exchange of experience among community groups and, on the other hand, promote partnerships between community organizations, government agencies, and all those interested in community development
From year to year, the format of the joint meetings was gradually improved and taken on a larger scale, and already since 2015, the Community Leaders Forum has become an important part of the Program activities. Each year, the event's format is planned differently, and its program is always notable for interesting novelties, thematic sessions, and various contests.
As a joint community meeting, the Community Leaders Forum gathers more and more community movement supporters from year to year, strengthens the contacts among them, promotes regional networking, and encourages local initiatives.
