Annual Meeting of Georgian Pro Bono Network
On December 21, 2021, the annual meeting of the Georgian Pro Bono Network was held. The meeting was attended by member and partner companies of the Network.
During the meeting, a representative of Pro Bono Network shared information about Pro Bono Cases implemented by member and non-member companies in 2021. Participants also received information about the news and challenges of the network.
The representatives of partner organizations of CSRDG - Service Grant Japan (Japan) and Work for Social (Spain) were invited at the meeting. They shared experience on how to implement pro bono services. In particular, the representatives of the partner organization talked about the implementation of pro bono program "Mama Bono".
Also, during the meeting, member companies of GPN - ACG Consulting and MBC presented information about the new forms of pro bono services. In particular, ACG Consulting has launched - Pro Bono Adoption program, which involves consulting and mentoring a beneficiary organization for one year. As for the microfinance organization MBC, in 2022 MBC plans to implement a pro bono project called - Mama Bono, which aims to empower women and engage them in the economic activities of the country. As part of this project, MBC had already implemented pro bono case in 2021.
At the end of the meeting, a new member of the Pro Bono Network - the reputable company "Reminder" was introduced to the participants of the meeting.
Pro Bono Network brings together local and international companies who want to use their expertise and professional resources for the benefit of the community.
The event was organized by the CSRDG as part of the Civil Society STAR Initiative: CSOs as Sustainable, Transparent, Accountable and Resilient Development Actors in Georgia’. The project is funded by the European Union and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
